Our Trip to Cambridge University
We all met at Haydon School to get on the coaches to Cambridge. Once there, we had an example lecture on Anglo Saxons by a History Lecturer. Afterwards, we had a slide show on ways to apply to university, why you should go to university and how university differs from secondary school.
We had lunch in the garden cafe in the Robinson College. After lunch, we had a Q&A session with some of the students from Cambridge University and we asked questions such as what courses they are taking, what results they got in their A Levels etc.
Finally, at the end of the day, we had a tour around the college by one of the Biochemistry students and we visited the gardens, accommodation and the library.
We would like to thank those who helped us take part in the trip and for the amazing experience.
